An 19th Century traditional Chinese two-door sideboard or bureau. Decorated with hand-painted birds and flowers, graphic borders completed with metal key, the bureau is divided into two shelf spaces.

Colours are ox-blood and saffron, beautiful details – this is a very solid piece of furniture.

There are some signs of age related wear in the decorations and on the top of the bureau.
